Questions/Answers

Q. What should I wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable in. People who attend Central Church wear everything from business casual to jeans. Feel free to dress as you see fit!

Q. What are the services like?

Our weekly 9:00 am Sunday service is committed to excellence with a blended worship experience of hymns and choruses. This service includes a choir and live orchestra, multi-media, and a relevant message from Pastor Rob. Our 10:30 am service features contemporary music played by a live band, multi-media, and a relevant message from Pastor Rob. Clickhere for more information.

We have a Spanish service led by Pastors David and Tabita Gonzalez also at 10:30 am in the Student Center for our Spanish speaking friends and neighbors. Click here for more information on our Spanish Ministries.

Our Connections Service on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm features a more laid back style of choruses and hymns. Frequently, Pastor Rob preaches but our staff pastors, visiting missionaries, and other guest ministers and ministries will also be featured during this time.

The alternative Sidedoor Service is at 5:30 pm on Sunday nights. It is geared towards those who have left the church, or truly have no church background. Our hope is that people can find here a place to belong and grow in Christ. The group so far is mostly young adults, but anyone is welcome! Contact Pastor Rob Prince or Pastor Jake Edwards for more details.

Q. What about my kids?

Children are very much a valuable part of our community at Central. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and encouraging environment for our children to experience God's love and lifestyle. More information can be found in the Children's section of the Web site.

Q. What kind of church is Central?

We are deeply committed to the truths of the Bible and to becoming a biblically functioning community of believers.

Q. What does your Church believe?

You can read about our church and its history and what we believe here.

Q. What does your church offer for my teenager?

The Vine Student Ministries has many different options for your teen to plug in. We offer grade-specific Sunday School classes, small groups, and junior high and senior high services on Wednesday nights. Check out the youth section for more information.

Q. What if I'm not a Christian?

Come anyway. Central is not a Christian Country Club, but a place to find hope, help, and healing. We won’t badger you or thump you with a huge Bible. What we will do is welcome you and make you feel at home.

Q. Are you going to ask me for money?

No! Tithing is the giving of 10% of our income to the work of the church. Christians do this out of their love of God and to show obedience. Christians believe that we are only giving back what God has already blessed us with. You are welcome to participate during the offering time but you are by no means obligated. We have recently added online giving here.
