Rooted Children’s Ministry
The mission of ROOTED Children’s Ministry is to equip parents and encourage kids to come to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and experience milestone moments as a family.
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7
Rooted in Jesus & His Word
It’s our prayer that your children will become ROOTED in Jesus Christ and His Word. We desire to partner with you in order to see your children come to know Jesus and grow deeper in their relationship with Him and the Bible.
Grounded in Love
Love is the foundation of our ministry. We believe that all children need and desire genuine love. Our screened and trained volunteers and staff strive to model the love of Jesus Christ and show that we care for them.
Growth
The ultimate goal of our children’s ministry is to see each student become a ROOTED disciple of Jesus Christ, and prepare them for future growth as a young person.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP
We have worship services designed specifically for kids; one for our youngest worshippers (3 years old - kindergarten) at 9:00 AM, the second for school-age kids (1st - 6th graders) at 10:30 AM.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
We partner with parents by providing intentional Sunday School classes. Our volunteer staff is trained and prepared to creatively lead the children in the Word of God and life’s most important principles. We have Sunday School classes for children birth - Kindergarten at 10:30 AM and 1st - 6th grade at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings.
MIDWEEK PROGRAMMING
Wednesdays are action-packed nights of friendships and spiritual growth. We have Small Groups led by caring adult role models for kids of all ages. Midweek programming is from 7:00-8:15 PM on Wednesday nights.
FAMILY STRENGTHENING
We partner with families by providing parent support and equipping opportunities including Mom’s play groups, monthly parent newsletter, weekly parent emails, periodic parenting and marriage classes and spiritual milestone events.
NURSERY
We partner with parents by providing nursery during all services and classes.
CHILDREN'S CAMP
1st & 2nd Grade Camp - Thursday, June 13 to Saturday, June 15. Cost is $180.
3rd & 4th Grade Camp - Monday, July 29 to Thursday, August 1. Cost is $175 if received by the Kansas City District by June 5.
5th & 6th Grade Camp - Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 26. Cost is $185 if received by the Kansas City District by June 5.
